Here’s just a selection of Frequently asked Questions.

Q.  WHEN IS THE EARLIEST I CAN BOOK AN EVENT?
A.  There is not set time scale, but we usually only book an event up to a Year in Advance.

Q.  WHEN IS THE LATEST I CAN BOOK AN EVENT?
A.  We usually say up to 2 weeks prior to the event to allow paperwork to be processed. This is also subject to availability. Only in extreme
circumstances will we take booking’s days in advanced (usually where another DJ  has blown out - which is a very rare occurrence).

Q.  I NEED A DJ, BUT YOU’RE BOOKED?
A.  Don’t worry! We have a whole host of contacts, so we should be able to supply a DJ or KJ for your Event.

Q.  DO WE GET CHARGED FOR SET-UP TIMES?
A.  No. You wont get charged for us to set-up, we will only charge for the time your event starts to the time it finishes.

Q.  HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY BOOKING IS CONFIRMED?
A.  We will send out paperwork when you enquire with us. When the paperwork has been returned to us, signed and a Deposit is paid, your
event will be confirmed by us in writing.

Q. CAN I BE SURE THAT YOU WON’T LET ME DOWN?
A.  To date DnP Events (and our previous brand names) have never had to cancel a booking on our part. We will ensure we turn up in good
time and always carry back-up equipment should the worst ever happen. All our equipment is regularly tested to ensure it’s reliability.

Q.  WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT?
A.  The deposit is there to show us you’re committing to our services and to secure your event date with us.

Q.  DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE (PLI) AND LICENCES?
A.  Yes. We hold a £5 million PLI  policy that cover’s D’n’P Events. We also only book DJ’s and KJ’s that also hold PLI Policies of no less than £5
million.  Music and performance Licences are usually only required by venues we are performing at. For outdoor events Temporary Events
Licences May be required. These must be obtained by the event organiser. We will perform licence checks if required when your booking
Is Confirmed with us to ensure your chosen venue has the appropriate Licences and infrastructure in place to enable us to perform there.

Q. IS YOUR EQUIPMENT TESTED?
A.  Yes. All of our Mobile equipment that is used at events is PAT Tested (Portable Appliance Testing) every year to conform with Government
legislation on the use of Portable Equipment. We Hold certificate’s to prove this should a venue/client require to see them. We also only
book DJ’s and KJ’s that have had their equipment tested and hold appropriate certificates to prove so.
